Six Local 284 scholarships are available in the amount of $500 each. Forms are available in August each year with the drawing held at the April Executive Board or general membership Union meeting. The deadline for entering is March 31st of each year.

In addition to the SEIU Scholarships, members and their dependents are eligible for the MN AFL-CIO Scholarships. These are awarded to graduating high school seniors. The application in due in April of every year, and can be found online.

Union Plus offers a card that is available to members to receive discounts on prescriptions.

Members who suffer from an injury or illness and no longer receive a check from the school district may be eligible for dues payments from this fund. Download the form. If you have any questions or would like the form mailed to you, contact our office.
